Item Cards[]

A unique feature in the Legend of Zelda Edition is the inclusion of special "Item" cards, each depicting a special item from one of the games, with a unique effect which may only be used once per game. One is handed out to each player at the start of the game. The items are:

  • Spirit Flute

Trick an opponent to swap their highest valued property with your lowest valued property*. If that player complains, you may receive an additional 100 rupees from him or her. Use this power only on your turn. (If either of the properties contain improvements, all Deku Sprouts or Deku Trees are sold back to the bank at half the listed price. Payment from the bank is made to the player who originally owned the property.)

  • Phantom Hourglass

Immediately after an opponent buys a property from the bank, you may take it from him or her and it now belongs to you.

  • Ocarina of Time

Remove the ownership of any single property and return it to the bank. Use this power at any time, except onto a property you just landed on. (If the removed property contains improvements, all Deku Sprouts or Deku Trees are sold back to the bank at half the listed price. Payment from the bank is made to the player whose property was removed, however, the remaining Deku Sprouts or Deku Trees stay on other properties.)

  • Goddess Harp

After landing on an opponent's location, remove all improvements while voiding penalties on the location. (Any of the removed Deku Sprouts or Deku Trees are sold back to the bank at half the listed price. Payment from the bank is made to the owner of the location.)

  • Wind Waker

Take an opponent's token and move it to any space on the board. That player is now subject to any privileges or penalties pertaining to that space. Use this power only on your turn.

  • Minish Cap

Grants you immunity to any penalty pertaining to the space you land on. If the space is a property owned by an opponent, he or she must pay you half the amount of that space's rent.
