Monopoly: Grand Rapids (Michigan) Edition is a boardgame edition that is about the city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the 2nd-most populous city in Michigan after Detroit. Grand Rapids is the largest city in the western side of the "mitten" (West Michigan) near Lake Michigan. Grand Rapids is home to numerous museums that include the Grand Rapids Art Museum and the Grand Rapids Public Museum. This city, very famous for the arts, is hosting the annual ArtPrize festival every late September for about 19 days (In 2025, it was from September 18 to October 4.). Grand Rapids is also called "Beer City USA" because this city has many craft breweries. Gerald Ford, the 38th President of the United States, was living in Grand Rapids between his childhood age of 8-17, so he has his boyhood home (on 649 Union Avenue SE), his presidential museum (on 303 Pearl Street near Grand River and U.S. Route 131) where he and his wife got buried, the airport (just 13 miles away from this city's downtown), and the Interstate 196 freeway named after his presidency.
