Bellevue is the 3rd-largest city in the Seattle metro (after Seattle and Tacoma) with over 150,000 as of the 2020 census, and it is the 5th-largest city in the U.S. state of Washington (after Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, and Vancouver (different from Canada)). Bellevue is the French term meaning "beautiful view"; it is appropriately named because the Bellevue residents can see the beautiful mountains of the Olympic Mountains to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east. Also, the Bellevue residents can see Lake Washington, Seattle skyline, and the Puget Sound to the west. Bellevue has headquarters of PACCAR, T-Mobile US, and Valve. Amazon was founded in Bellevue by Jeff Bezos in 1994 before moving its headquarters to Seattle. Bellevue has numerous thriving commercial districts with 4 major shopping centers; it has its own square in downtown, Factoria Mall to the south, Crossroads Mall to the east, and the Overlake Shopping District in the north. It has its own beautiful downtown park in about the center of this city.
