Pick ONE UNOWNED property (ANY of them) for the Banker to auction to the highest bidder. Bidding may start at whatever price any player is willing to bid.

If ALL properties are owned, you must immediately move to the property that would make you pay the highest rent (the closer one, if tied). For instance, all properties are owned. One player has Skyscrapers on all 3 Blue properties (Florida Avenue, Park Place, and Boardwalk). You land on the Auction space. Since Boardwalk would be the highest rent you have to pay, you must immediately move there and pay the $3000 rent! Ouchie!
