90th Anniversary logo
Monopoly 90th Anniversary Edition is a special anniversary edition that occurs in 2025 for the 90 years of Monopoly since 1935. Although a box does not say "90th anniversary edition", there are changes in the new packaging of Monopoly. Also, there are 3 expansion packs to set up with regular Monopoly game and to play Monopoly in different creative ways. There are also commemorative coins and Limited Edition classic box from Winning Solutions Game Company.

Notable Changes[]
Box
The box is now square. Its new size is 10.1 inches long (in length from left to right), 10.1 inches wide (in width from back to front), and 1.6 inches in height (from bottom to top). It is only 2/3 (two-third) of the past editions. It can fit on any shelf or drawer without "twisting" the box to fit.
The newer box is on the bottom right. It is "perfectly" square.
Rhode Island Avenue
Rhode Island Avenue replaces Oriental Avenue as the 1st light blue property (street) of the new 90th anniversary edition.
NOTE: However, Oriental Avenue is still in the Limited Edition classic box.
Tokens
The tokens in the new 90th anniversary edition are 20% bigger than before.
The eight common tokens are:
- Top Hat
- Race Car
- Scottie the Dog
- Thimble (replacing the T-Rex that had appeared from 2017 to 2024)
- Hazel the Cat
- Penguin
- Rubber Ducky
- Money Bag (came back after an 18-year hiatus and has the "M")

Money
The notable changes of the Monopoly money are as follows:
- The big denomination amount and the Monopoly banner have shifted to the left to make room for the Mr. Monopoly portrait.
- Mr. Monopoly's portrait appears to the right of the big denomination amount.
- The small denomination amounts appear on the upper left and the lower right corners of the bills.
The new 90th anniversary Monopoly money is on the right.
Title Deed cards
The new Title Deed cards have better design.
The Title Deed cards are now square for easy handling.
Each card has its corresponding color-set color all around as the "frame".
On the mortgage side of a card, Mr. Monopoly's face is on the background and the new theme color stripe is on top.
The newest version of Title Deed is on the bottom right (the new Rhode Island Avenue has replaced Oriental Avenue). The previous version is at the left. The classic version is on the top.
Chance and Community Chest
The Chance cards are back to their orange background color. The Community Chest cards are back to yellow.
The cards are bigger for easy handling. They now have rounded corners.
The cards are made of "easy paper" so that they will be easier to separate and to pick up a needed card.
The new cards are on the bottom. The looks and the sizes can be compared.
